Seat Skirt

Made the template for the seat skirt to get the layout for the sheet material.

Chris used the English wheel to give the parts some curves and the basic shape before he went to the bead roller to tip the upper lip. After he tip the lip he shrunk and stretched it till it match up with the template. Once the top was fitted he tig welded the bottom flange onto the skirt. This was Chris's first time making a piece like this and gave it 12 on difficulty with the scale being 1 to 10.

I give Chris a 12 on the final fit and finish. Still need to add the seat controls and the back seat adjustment lever and it will be done. How for the passenger side.

Closing in on finishing up the seat skirts. Need to place the controls and work on seat belt hardware.

Chris made a hood blister and tig welded it in for the seat lever. We used a punch and flare die for the seat belt bolt. The last part is to mount the controls for the driver seat.

This is a Photoshop drawing of the seat setup. The seat skirt will be black and the plan is to have black leather with red stitching and one red insert. The bottom detail will be made out of polished aluminum.
