While the family was taking a wonderful vacation Chris has been hard at work on the framework.
A look at the front. The width is eight feet with a 20" radius on the corners.
The inside length of the box is 18'
From the back side.
The top radius is also 20" and has a slight bow to get more head room.
This side will have the serving window
Back view.
We ended up with about 6'10" for our head room inside the box.
We got the call that the powder coating was done. Now its time for finial assembly of the bottom part of the box.
First up was the transfer switch that will give the truck its electrical power.
Have the 50amp cord installed that will be stored in this box. The switch is designed to automatically switch between the generator or shore power that will feed the fuse box.
This box will house the Accuair compressors and tanks that will supply the air to the bagged suspension.
There will be four compressors and two five gallon tanks. One set will supply air to the front suspension and one for the back set
Here part of the set up. Need to install a manifold that will run the air lines to the bags, and finish up the wiring part of the setup. We have this up on the fab table to get the finial setup done and then will disassemble and install in the truck.
The call came in from Silver Creek Auto Body that we have paint on the cab. The red has been cut and polished but the black still needs to be polished.
You would never now that there was a window in the back of the cab.
Tom at Silver Creek Auto Body did one superb job on getting the truck laser straight for paint. He is one very talented man and we were very fortunate to have him work on our truck.
A big thanks to Joel the man behind the paint gun. Awesome job Joel!
Mirror Mirror on the Cab who's the fairest of them all? Well I think I am don't you think. I would like to thank all the guy's at Silver Creek Auto Body for taking the truck to its next level! Your commitment to the details and having the same vision as Chris and myself shows in the finial product.
