More Progress On The Small Stuff that Makes It All Work

 Finishing up on the rear back lower structure where the propane tanks and the steps will be.



 
 This box will house the air tanks and management system for the air suspension.

 This is the manifold for the air lines to come into the box. Our good friend Paul machined the part for us.

Will have two tanks and four compressor to run the system with the Accuair management system controlling the system. Have most of the system mock up so we can send the boxes off to be power coated. After we get them back we will do the finial install.

Mounted the power steering and brake reservoir for easier access. Will have removable panels on three sides of the motor for access. 

 At the back we have all the EFI equipment. Have to still mount the controller that will be in the center.

This box will house the batteries and will be the home run for all the power.

Got a start on running some of the wiring. Man my heads spinning already and I'm just getting started.

 It's a bird nest. These are the wires that need to be ran into the cab when it gets back from the painter.

Here we have the second gas tank almost finished..

Water, gas, and holding tanks are mounted to truck frame instead of the box frame. We had to come up with a way so that we could remove them if needed.

For the back we used flat bar and welded it to the tank.

On the frame we used channel so that the flat bar would slide into it locking it in place.

On the front we used 90 degree angle material and drill mounting holes

In the frame we tap the holes to lock the tanks in place.

 For the boxes we mounted them to the box frame.

 This box is for the transfer switch between the generator and shore power. It will also hold the 50 amp cord so we can plug in if power is available.

The conduit on the left is the power going to the panel and on the right is power coming in from the generator. The cord will go into the transfer switch at the end.


We are using a tank-less water heater that runs off of propane. We chose this one because of  it's ability to be mounted outside of the work space and it didn't have to mount to outside skin of the truck box.


 Welding all the bungs in before the tanks head out to be power coated.

 Tanks are done and we got the parts back from Kyros. You give them your radius and the magic happens.
We will cut each ring to get the top parts of the box roof structure.
   
 These will be the top bows of the truck box.

After laying out the part we discovered that something was not quite right. There was a mix up between the radius and the diameter. We gave them radius and they made them with diameter, which gave us to much bow. Monday the parts go back to be adjusted to the right specs.

The flooring came in. Now we just need to finish up the boxes, tanks, and the pre-wiring and then we can start to lay out the flooring.
