We have doors with paint.
Getting ready to install the cargo doors
.
When installing the doors we found out the chrome hinges stuck out like a shore thumb. Out came the hinges for some paint. About eight hours later of prepping and taping they were ready for paint.
The only picture I have so far with the cargo doors installed.
Prepping the landing and steps for some sandblasting.
Always a fun and messy task.
We were going to use a matte clear to protect the finish but we waited to long and the surface got dirty. Went to go clean it but things went side ways fast. Decided to go a different route and go with a tint based bed liner. We used the highest metallic base silver that we could fine. The final out come was very close to what you see here. Will post some pictures soon of how it turned out.
Have some update pictures from Rick on the interior. He's working on the seats and center console.
Decided to start from scratch on the seats.
Seat back wrapped in leather.
Fold down center console.
The first fold down serving shelves installed.
All three shelves are in.
Next up is to install the service window door. We have just a few more things to finish up on it before it goes up.
